JAZZ at JR's this Friday 03/30 6:30 pm

The Saints n' Sinners
The Saints n' Sinners was established in Perth about 10 years ago when two local men of the cloth got together with a couple of layabouts to make a little noise. The group prides itself on playing a blend of blues and jazz with a bit of Dixieland, honky tonk or hymns included in the mix. They will use any tune left about unguarded from the most formal of hymn tunes to spirituals, jazz standards and the occasional sappy ballad in need of some spice. The group consists of Jim Bailey(string bass), Larry Paul(keyboard), Peter Woods(saxophones) and Peter Wand(clarinet). No we're not saying which are the saints and which the sinners, there's a little bit if the devil in all of us.

This is the last Friday Jazz in the Restaurant. Jazz at JR's is moving back downstairs to the Pub on April 27th. The group appearing on that night will be the Dave Renaud trio, Dave has played JR's previously under the name Dr.Jazz.
