On Stage for Kids presents Derek De Beer. Derek is a drummer, percussionist and songwriter. In 1997 he conceived the ideas of developing an artistic educational program for school children featuring ethnic African beat - a concept Derek refers to as rhythm safari. The performance is at 2:00pm and held at Naismith Memorial Public School, 260 King Street in Almonte.
