Last Folkus Concert

folkus.png

This Saturday everyone should be at the Almonte Old Town Hall to listen to the last concert of the 07/08 season. Bring suggestions. Think of joining the board.

The double bill presents Jory Nash ... to listen click here http://www.jorynash.com/main-set.html

and Colette Savard can be heard here http://www.collettesavard.com/

So make a night of it. Invite some friends from away to visit. Have a fondue. come to the bar after to play charades. Book a table at one of our great down town restaurants. Invite friends. No. Really. I mean it. A large dynamic crowd will enthuse the hard working Folkus committee to strive even harder next year. (I know they are hard working because I attend the meetings and have successfully weaselled out of a great deal of work.) So invite some friends.

And buy a board member a beer. Or give 'em a hug. Or pat on the head and a well done lad, well done.

Needless to say - but I will - SEE YA THERE! (Tickets can be purchased AHEAD of time, so as to alleviate some of the chest pains experienced by certain members of the Folkus committee, here at The Miller's Tale.)
